Clinical-Psychological Treatment
with integrated humanistic-psychotherapeutic knowledge
I offer you my professional support within the framework of clinical-psychological treatment. The process begins with an initial consultation, followed by test-based diagnostics, and concludes with a written report about you and your condition. This allows me to gain diagnostic insights in order to address your specific situation and concerns throughout the course of treatment. The aim is to support your orientation and help you decide whether this approach is suitable for you.
The goal is to support you both in dealing with mental disorders and in coping with somatic illnesses, thereby promoting your overall health.
How can clinical-psychological treatment be of help?
Clinical-psychological treatment places strong emphasis on your individual characteristics right from the beginning. To assess these, standardized test procedures are conducted as part of a structured diagnostic process. Depending on your concerns and specific situation, this may take place either at my practice or with external, licensed colleagues in clinical psychology. The aim is to thoroughly understand your individual traits, your psychological functions and patterns, as well as the interpersonal system you are part of. This comprehensive understanding forms the foundation for effective intervention and treatment planning. In addition, symptom-specific interventions are also provided.
What risks or dangers are associated with clinical-psychological treatment?
Every personal development — and such development inevitably takes place during clinical-psychological treatment — brings changes in how one perceives oneself and the (social) world around them. As a result, this process may lead to periods of emotional upheaval, including within one’s personal environment. Furthermore, the treatment tends to increase awareness of one’s own existence and consciousness. This can lead to heightened self-focus and reflection. Additionally, there is a risk that you may inappropriately identify with the written results from the initial consultation and standardized tests. This could contribute to a fixed self-image, making change more difficult.
How is the treatment financed?
Clinical-psychological treatment is privately financed. For the triad of initial consultation, diagnostics, and written report, I charge €500.
Clinical-psychological treatment is partially reimbursed by your health insurance provider — typically at a rate of €35 to €45 per session. This reimbursement applies twice for the diagnostic triad — specifically for the initial consultation and the feedback session — and then for each subsequent treatment session. Starting with the eleventh session, a separate application must be submitted to your health insurance provider. A prerequisite is that, by the second session, you provide a confirmation from your general practitioner stating the necessity of clinical-psychological treatment, and that I also assess your condition as one requiring treatment or as a clinically relevant disorder.
Which age groups do you work with?
I work with individuals of all genders from the age of 16 onwards — with no upper age limit.
Is there any literature on the topic of mental health?
Ich empfehle die aktuelle (09-2025) Broschüre des Fond Gesundes Österreich (FGÖ), welche Sie hier lesen können!
